Livre et collection exceptionnels: qualité du format, du texte, des photos, du prix.Si la collection s'arrête, c'est vraiment dommage car elle permet l'accès à la culture avec des supports d'extrême qualité à un prix modique; en tout cas, ça restera comme un modèle...

Excellentissime collection : qualité de l'impression et du texte, choix des illustrations et prix très modique...Pour autant, Taschen a décidé de ne plus éditer la Petite Collection Architecture = REGRETS !(ce n'était donc pas la peine de faire imprimer les derniers en Chine pour arriver à cette décisions regrettable !)

Bel aperçu du style minimaliste californien. Après, il appartient à chacun d'approfondir les maisons qu'il préfère dans d'autres livres ou sur internet. J'ai un faible pour la Stahl house !

Peu de photos et de textes sur les logements du célèbre programme. On a l'essentiel en un cahier de quelques pages. Utile pour informer architectes, étudiants en architecture ou passionnés, mais on regrette les plans au format timbre poste.

All I wanted was a book with photos and diagrams of the Case Study Houses. This book fit the bill. And I only paid $15 instead of $150 for some book with lots of long dissertations on the houses. This one is a good buy. Highly recommended.

I've always liked the diversity of home styles in Los Angeles, and have a particular affinity for mid-century modern designs. I lived in a glass-walled, post-and-beam, home in the hills, and it's amazing how creative architects blended their construction into the topography and took advantage of the settings and views. A very enjoyable book with a nice selection of homes.

I am a big fan of Pierre Koenig's style and his ability to create a beautiful design. I was interested in learning more about the case study program, and this book seemed like a bargain. It has sketches and drawings about each of the case study homes, even the ones that were never built. Also makes a nice coffee table book. I will be buying more of the Taschen books on architecture, art and design.

Includes descriptive text (in English, French & German). Many plans include architectural drawings / floor plans. Exactly what I was looking for.

Concise overview of eponymous houses, with short back stories for proper assessment. Must no be absent from your library if you're into the modern California 20th century styles.
